Experience country luxury at Willowtree Cottage — a thoughtfully designed two-bedroom retreat near Lincoln University and local wedding venues. With light-filled interiors, a private balcony, and all the comforts of home, it’s the perfect base for exploring the region or simply slowing down. Guests enjoy free WiFi, secure parking, and the serenity of the gardens, just a short drive from Christchurch.
This summer, our picking gardens are open exclusively for Willowtree guests. Step into a private sanctuary of foxgloves, snapdragons, dahlias, and sweet peas, all grown from seed. Watch the bees tend the working hive, listen to the bellbirds and kingfishers weave through the morning chorus, and look out across the paddocks where our rescued farm animals — pigs, sheep, goats, cows, and alpacas — go about their days. Pull up a chair. This is a place to breathe. Our picking gardens are a space for rest and relaxation. Farm animals are visible from the garden.
Please note that some areas of our grounds remain private and farm tours need to booked in advance.
